Machelle McClane, Client Services Director
Machelle McLane has spent most of her life in ministry. Raised as a preacher's daughter from the age of two, she grew up deeply rooted in faith and service. At 21, she married and soon stepped into ministry alongside her husband, beginning in children's ministry before becoming a Youth Pastor in South Carolina. In September 2010, they received their first pastorate in Easley, South Carolina, and continued serving congregations throughout both South Carolina and North Carolina.
In 2018, Machelle and her family relocated to Elsberry, Missouri, where she and her husband served as pastors of New Hope Baptist Church. A dedicated mother of four, Machelle has also homeschooled her children for the past 19 years.
Over time, Machelle felt the Lord leading her into a new area of ministry. That call opened the door to her work with Options for Women, where she now serves as the Client Services Director in Bowling Green and Hannibal, Missouri. She is excited about the new things God is doing through Options for Women and is grateful for the opportunity to be used as an instrument in this life-changing ministry.
Melissa Workman, Executive Director
Melissa Workman brings more than 20 years of corporate leadership experience to her role at Options for Women. She began her career in an entry-level call center position and steadily advanced through the organization, ultimately serving as Program Director for a $60 million contract in Missouri. Throughout her corporate tenure, Melissa traveled nationwide to support the implementation and development of large-scale, multi-million-dollar programs.
Despite her professional success, Melissa eventually felt called to pursue work with deeper purpose and eternal impact. After prayerful reflection and seeking God's direction, her path shifted at age 63. A providential conversation at church introduced her to the mission and needs of Options for Women, and God began aligning her heart with the ministry's life-affirming work.
Melissa now serves as the Executive Director of Options for Women in Bowling Green and Hannibal, Missouri. She is deeply committed to advancing a culture of life, supporting women and families, and leading with compassion, excellence, and strong Christian faith. Melissa considers it a sacred calling to devote the rest of her life to championing life and guiding others to do the same.
